Heavenly Home Improvements cheated us out of $12,000. We went to small claims court and won the maximum of $7,500 plus expenses. Shawn Hunt claimed "No personal assets", therefore I can only seize property if Heavenly Home Improvements ever purchases any. Work was not completed, painting never finished, flooring done by someone who had never laid flooring, an heirloom ring stolen, door knob broken and never fixed or returned, deposits demanded and never returned even after work was canceled by Shawn Hunt. Our Christmas was ruined last year because he couldn't finish the work, yet in that time frame he was able to finish the same work on his own house and take a two week vacation and take his "workers" on a weekend trip to Pigeon Forge. Took our deposit and never showed up. Says he is licensed but isnt. Reported him to authorities. Read his reviews, positive reviews are from people out of state who worked for him Not customers, Real customers who he has swindled he claims he doesnt know. Long history of legal claims in luding mine. CON artist. I think man preys on Senior Citizens

Hello, I had Heavenly Homes do about 3k worth of work at my home. When Shaun's crew was done and I returned home to find poor results and 150.00 worth of my tools gone. When I told him of the issues he told me he did not believe his guys took my tools. He then stated he would give me my money for the tools. After 3 months of him not returning my phone calls and texts I decided to give him a very poor review. He just sent me a email telling me to take the post down, or he would sue me for slander. Be very careful. You won't like his work ethic.
Response from Heavenly Home Improvements April 18, 2016This customer has no just cause to accuse my workers of stealing. We carry and use our own tools. The work was done at a vacant, unlocked trailer. This customer was harassing us to the point that we were forced to block his number. Heavenly Home Improvements is dedicated to providing excellent repair and improvement services. We hold ourselves and our employees to the highest standards possible. -

Shawn and his crew have been my go to handyman service for years. His prices are reasonable and fair. Shawn is punctual and great with communicating if he is running late or needs to reschedule. Shawn and his company have done numerous projects for us. They have replaced my garage door opener, painted several rooms, replaced rail on my front porch and steps, installed blinds throughout the house, replaced my garbage disposal, installed gas fireplace logs, installed a new French door with a transom, installed garage shelving, installed ceiling fans, chandelier and other lights, power washed house, driveway and sidewalk, mounted our TV’s that included custom shelving for components, installed house antennae and hooked it into existing house wiring so we can unplug, he’s clean out our gutters, and a lot more.
Shawn does excellent work. If he sees a way we can save money on a project, he lets us know.
Our next project is replacing the master bathroom shower and install tile flooring. Heavenly Home Improvements is the only handyman service I will ever use!
