Do not hire this contactor. The owner is very unprofessional, does not pay attention to their job details, lots of mistakes, never keeps his promises, lies and would try any thing he can to raise his price after the demolishing. So you would be stuck with him or your job would be a mess. Fire place gas leak, swimming pool leaks, etc…….

We were really impressed with his work. There might be a language barrier but if you have pictures and you have a conversation with him consistently thru each phase of building, you will avoid a lot of the issues the last reviewer had. You may also want to consider hire an architect that offers 3D rendering and choose your material in advance. He knows where to get the traditional materials but if you want something specific, you need to find it yourself. We loved that he was flexible and offered other solutions to dilemmas we came across. We did not feel like he was overcharging us in our backyard landscaping that included a pool. I did my research and found he was lower or on the same scale with others that offer the same job. Chu did charge us for the material for one of mistakes we ended up changing but it was reasonable since we changed our minds from the original plan. We found him to be honest and always there to return our calls if we had any issues. He is old school and doesn’t have many pictures to brag about his work but we know enough friends that have gotten pools done by him that would recommend him. I even offered to start an Instagram account for him. He has never gotten frustrated with us or even shown any sign of a bad attitude toward us. I’m not someone that writes reviews but someone had pointed out the negative review and I do respect everyone’s opinions and can see where the reviewer might be coming from. We had a completely different outlook on his work. To find someone that is patient, reasonable, hardworking and always willing to take your calls is rare in the contracting world. I would definitively use him again.
