I have been in real estate for 16 years, and after dealing with countless contractors, this guy takes the cake, as the most unprofessional. Hector [Complete Plumbing solutions] was hired in May of 2019 to do the entire plumbing for 2 new homes in Kapaa. He told the general contractor and myself it would take him 2 weeks to do the rough-in plumbing for each house. 3 months later he still wasn't finished. This was the beginning of what became a nightmare. After he was paid another $5,000 as an advance to finish the rough-in, he disappeared from the job, and ignored all contact attempts. After 2 months of no response, we tried to get a new plumber to finish the job but no one wanted to take over and assume responsibility for the work this guy had performed, as is required by the County. We also learned that Hector does not have a good reputation among building inspectors, but for us, it was too late. I would encourage others considering hiring this guy to do what we did not - check his referrals, talk to his peers, building inspectors, and previous clients.
