Henry is more than just a contractor--he is a "cabinet maker", an "artisan", a craftsman. He built some bookcases between my living room and snug (library?) that are not only beautiful, but could withstand a force 6 tornado. If you can wait for him, he's really, really good.

There is eastern standard time and then there is "Henry Time". If you can wait, and I mean W . A . I . T, Henry is worth waiting for. But like many builders who never know when or where the next job will show up, you never turn anything down.
So that means you frequently over-commit to jobs that you will not be able to finish in a timely manner. The job I hired Henry to do should not have taken more than four weeks, but ended up stretching over five months with long periods of him never showing up.
I wouldn't call him a 'cabinet-maker' (which is what I actually hired him to do--build cabinets), but he is a very good carpenter. He could use a bit more polish on his finish work.
Speaking of finish... he never did. I finally hired someone else to come in and finish up all the loose ends that Henry should have done and was paid to do, but alas, didn't.
