I looked up his reviews while he was in my home because I was wondering if I was the only one having a difficult time with this man. I was wrong. With all the negative reviews this tech has, it is extremely irresponsible on 2-10 home warranty to continue to send him to peoples homes. I had my own experience with Henry recently and it was a mess.
DO NOT HIRE!
(1) you can barely understand him. His accent is very thick and when asked to repeat himself he gets annoyed.
(2) he treated me as if I was lying about my a/c not working. As if I would pay money to fix something that isn’t broken. My house was steaming hot in Georgia in June. My ac wasn’t coming on. My thermostat was set to 72 and the temp showed 88. ITS NOT WORKING.
(3) he got annoyed when I asked questions such as “what is that tool doing?”
(4) I had some folks on the phone from my new construction home purchase (I’d just bought it a few months prior) and they were trying to figure out how much the full repair was going to be (it wasn’t covered by 2-10). They were trying to hire him to complete the job properly instead of bypassing it as he was trying to do (since the full repair wasn’t covered by 2-10) and he was literally walking away while I’m asking questions on speaker phone to all of them. He left from the second floor of my home all the way to the backyard. I’m literally following him trying to get answers to these questions and he’s just walking away mid conversation. Then he says I DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT THIS ANYMORE. IM HOT AND I WANT TO FINISH THIS. yeah you’re the ac guy. It’s very hot. And I’m trying to get him to change course and NOT finish what he’s doing but you can’t reason with this guy. Very rude.
(5) At the end of him putting a bandaid on my problem, he says “you owe me a hundred bucks.” P. S. Doesn’t take credit cards.
So rude. Not a people person. Should not work with people or in public at all. Terrible customer service. The worst experience. DO NOT HIRE. I also sent a review of this vendor to 2-10. They should remove him from their vendors. Because of all the negative reviews this vendor has and them still sending him to peoples homes, it tarnishes their brand and I will not renew with them in the future for my warranty. Unacceptable.
