Hi Quality Roofing

Hi Quality Roofing in Logan, Utah is not high quality. This company occasionally works with my GC, so they got Hi Quality Roofing to give us a bid. Originally my GC said it would be 10,000 for our metal standing seam hidden fastener roof. I questioned the price at that time and was assured that’s the price with product and install. Then when it was time for the installation about 6 months later the installer Ivan wanted to rebid the job. The new bid came in at 19,000. My husband and I were so upset but we discussed the fact that this roof would be one we would have for a long time so we decided to take all of our wiggle room money and put it towards a the roof. The roofer Ivan also said we had to pay 10,000 down for the product. So we did. About 6 weeks later the installer finished our roof and at that time told our GC and my husband that he underbid the roof and now we owe him 27,000.00 in total. Ivan at Hi Quality Roofing installed and screwed cheap as heck snow guards into my standing HIDDEN FASTENER roof. Ivan and his crew also scratched my roof all over the place while installing the last touches. When questioned about the scratches he told me it was a really hard roof. Well then you shouldn’t have taken the job. The roofer and his wife have gotten angry at us and yelled at my husband telling him that we owe them 17,000 dollars. We told the roofer, Ivan and his wife that if we would have known this from the beginning or even the start of the job we could have made different choices but they didn’t give us that opportunity. We don’t have the money in our budget and we told them they won’t be getting paid for the mis-quoted amount. We were quoted 19,000 and that is what we will be paying. They are now trying to put a lean on our home. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. Terrible install, terrible owners, terrible service. If you give someone a bid that’s the bid. You don’t get to change your price after you have completed the job!
