I feel as though people are really harsh or overly nice when rating someone who they have hired. Im a retired contractor and know what go's on in the remodeling industry. I was very hard on Synergy until everything was finished. This is the first five star rating I have given on the internet since I discovered Chipotle 7 years ago. Why am I giving Synergy Conservation a 5 star rating? Because my solar system produces more then what was stated that it would produce. The installer's were on time, finished in the proper amount of time. Would I hire Synergy again? YES. Sorry for the rough time I gave you guy's but it was a nice size investment. We all should be happy now that it is done. Good luck and may we meet again on the next project.

You people run a first rate outfit. Your consultant Joe was a class act not pressuring us into the decision "Not the experience I had with another solar company". Your project manager Tim kept us in the loop the entire time. Installers were great real personable. Our bill went from $175 to $11 for July 2011. 5 stars well deserved.

Found synergy conservations yard sign sitting in a neighbors lawn. Asked my neighbors about how well the solar was working for them. Also how the company performed. They were happy all around. Had synergy come out and give us a bid. Did some research and ended up choosing them over another two companies. I have not received my first bill yet. However everything so far has gone exactly as described and expected.

We were quite please with them. The type of current they use (either AC or DC; I can't remember), is safer than the other type and fire departments actually will concur. This was one very good reason we went with them. We also wanted to own our panels and avoid those solar companies you hear and see all the time on TV and radio.
They do hire subcontractors to do the work, but those guys were great, too. Maybe even better! We originally put six panels on in March of 2013. Then in July 2015, we had to replace our roof and had them do it because they know how to break down and reinstall the solar system. At that time, we put another panel installed. It all went well.
We also like that our panels are being constantly monitored by Enphase.com so if one is malfunctioning, they spot it within a day or two. We had that happen with one panel about two years ago and they fixed it right away.
My only complaint was with Dan Hill who is their project manager, I believe. He was not always responsive enough in my opinion. I had to have a talk with him several times when he wouldn't return a call. Then he would have a lame excuse like he was "out of town," but cell phones work everywhere and I didn't think it was a good enough reason to not call me back. Other than having to push Dan a bit, we were very satisfied with Hi Def Solar. I learned to just ask for someone else when I needed help with something. Everyone else were great. I would highly recommend HDS and just warn people about Dan not always being responsive to call backs.
