By a user in RevereJune 8, 2018Lots of different projects over a 15 year period! They fixed or replaced gutters and roofing, fixed$15,000
Tom Macdonald and members of his crew have done many projects for me over the last 15 years. They were outstandingly good--expert, hard-working, efficient, honest. They gave me great referrals if I needed a repair that was not something they normally handle, and if the project was something they normally do, I knew I was in good hands. They do get a lot of calls (because they are GOOD at what they do!) so sometimes they have a lot on their plate; depending on what you need done and where you are located, at certain times of year, you might need to wait to get to the top of their list. But for me it has been worth it. Also, the few times when I have had an real emergency and called them, even if they were busy, they either found a way to fit me in and did their level best to help, or they gave me the contact information of some one reliable and affordable who was able to work with me right away.

I would not recommend this contractor. After 6 months the project did not progress. Communication broke down several times. They would show up periodically and then not come back for days and weeks at a time. They finally resigned leaving us to hire another contractor to finish the project.

Awful. One that Iwill never forget for the rest of my life. It was recommended to us by our real estate agent. I deeply regret it. He did horrific things to our house. It was so bad that it ended up in the court. Please check his license it’s all there. Do not give him cash, you will never see it back. There is NO honesty or decency in Thomas McDonald, even his lawyer admitted! He will never be allowed to build in Newton, MA. Hurt so many people but we took him to court.
