I was struggling to put together ideas on how to convert my garage into a studio apartment. Then, I started working with Ken at HTP Builders. With Ken asking the right questions, he gained knowledge and understanding of what I wanted. He then applied my vision to his work and it was perfect. With Ken's experience, his 3D designs of my kitchen, full bath, and bedroom came out exactly like I wanted. This is something I will enjoy and not get tired of looking at for years to come. Ken was always up front with good news and bad news, always up front about the best decisions for the short and long term. He won't waste your time with low-ball quotes or vague numbers, he and his team know their worth and the quality produce is second to known. We hired High Tech Pacific Builders to help us locate and eradicate some mold that showed up in our son’s room and also to replace some drywall in a bathroom. Ken was very professional, honest and hardworking as was his assistant Jeff. They showed up on time, kept us informed of the progress and what to expect every step of the way and diligently searched for the source of the mold and the original leak in the bathroom to ensure that these problems were truly fixed before they closed up the walls and painted the rooms. If there were any unexpected things that popped up they addressed them and made sure we were informed. I reached out to HTP Builders when another contractor refused to respond to me when their work failed the city inspection. HTP Builders was responsive and willing to correct the work. They came and completed the work within the same week that I called. They did an excellent job and the City Inspector passed the job. Ken and Jared worked two projects for us: rebuilding a long set of steps on a steep hillside in Three Tree Point, and building driveway gates. Both jobs required considerable design input from HTP; the gates in particular were built using only a picture. Both were completed in a timely fashion with great care and expertise. They used high quality materials, were punctual and efficient with their time. There was no multi-tasking: once our jobs were started, they were worked until finished. Price quotes were more than competitive, particularly when viewing the finished product and the degree of difficulty involved. Jared made a point of keeping us informed of progress, and we reviewed the projects frequently. They were meticulous in their cleanup.

Without hesitation we would use HTP again.

We have hired High Tech Pacific Builders for several jobs now and have had wonderful experiences each time. They have done woodwork, pressure washing and custom window screens for all of our windows that our pets would not destroy (which required research and ordering special materials). I highly recommend Ken at High Tech Pacific Builders. In 2015, he replaced my deck posts which had rotted. He is knowledgeable, professional, and did an excellent job. The replacement work was far superior to the original. He has also done many more minor maintenance jobs for me, from painting to repairing deck stairs handrails.
