Jeremy Hinkle is extremely dishonest. I had the unfortunate experience of having to deal with him this past year for a project that should have taken no longer than a month.

In March, he took money from my elderly mother and told her he had purchased materials to complete the job. After waiting several months for him to start working and hearing nothing from him, I finally had to call him. He gave me many excuses, and when I checked directly with his supplier, it turned out the order for materials had not been made in March, but instead occurred five weeks after his stated date. When presented with his lie, he became condescending and aggressive.

In mid summer, he finally started work. He performed precisely one day of work before abandoning the job. He did not make any attempt to contact us. After several months, he was contacted and asked why he had abandoned the job. Once again, he offered up a flimsy excuse that could have easily been resolved had he simply called or contacted us. I want to stress here, that this man never called or attempted any contact. He simply stopped working.

In October, he again started up the job, performed several days of work and then stopped for no reason. He made no attempt to contact us. The job has been sitting unworked for several months at this point. It has been over eight months since the contract was signed and he took our money.

I anticipate the ultimate conclusion to the contract will require lawyers.

This man is extremely unprofessional and dishonest. I cannot stress enough that you should not hire him. He is legitimately one of the worst contractors I have ever had to deal with. Everytime I ever had to communicate with him, he was deceitful, condescending and rude. If you do find yourself with Mr. Hinkle in your employ, make sure to keep documentation on everything; you will likely need the ability to prove it in court.

    Roof replacement

Very professional. Quality of work was excellent. Roof was replaced in 35 degree weather. Project was completed on-time and on budget. Jeremy kept me apprised of his progress. I would highly recommend him for similar projects.
