We were hired to repair gas leaks after Con Edison (gas company) shut off service to your home. As described in your invoice, this job is time consuming both on the job site and behind the scenes with time spent filing permits, forms, and affidavits with both the Village and Gas Company. We, as the Master Plumber of record have a responsibility keep your home safe. After making repairs to the house gas piping, we discovered your water heater was spilling carbon monoxide into the home and the vent was a fire hazard. Both issues could cause serious injury or death. You were informed of the repairs that must be filed and competed by a Master Plumber. If you felt we are no longer a fit, you were free to contract a different Licensed Master Plumber to complete the repair. Safety is the priority. We do not make the Village Plumbing code, and being licensed, must follow the rules. This was not a DYI project and the way the water was installed could kill.

Got a referal from someone but it turned out that Peter Adams is one of the most unethical plumber out there. He either lacks experience or will delibrately damage your property. And would go the extra distance to call your town if you ever try to do part of the work diy and make your life miserable simply because he cannot charge his own overpriced add-ons. Acts like mafia and threatens the home owner. Very negative experience with him.
