    Considered for Detached Garage

    I hired Chris to build a 1000 sq foot garage. His communication was sporadic. Long periods of time elapsed with no work being done and no response to phone calls, emails, texts, etc. He also added change orders with increased expenses and I didn't change anything. He asked for about 80% of the contract price near the beginning of the project. I ended up taking on the general contractor work myself. Chris also had many personal problems during the construction. He had many excuses, which at first seemed plausible explanations for work that was progressing at a snail's pace and mostly not at all.
