Reggie Hines gets negative stars!!!! He is dishonest!! We insisted that he produce receipts for labor and materials for sub-contractors...he provided receipts marked paid that in fact were never paid and the supply yard had closed his account. He uses money advanced to him to take lavish vacations with friends. RUN away from him!!! Questionable work!!! Not quality.

Hines Custom Homes went above and beyond all expectations for our dream home. Very professional, honest and everything was done as promised. Highly recommended.

This builder went above and beyond for my family. He did everything we asked in a timely fashion, and we were nothing but pleased with his work.

This guy has lied to my wife and me about everything. He has spent 80K dollars and we have nothing but a shirty ass floor a a.c. unit. That's it. He is a crook. I can back everything up with hard evidence.

We lost our home to a fire two days after Christmas of last year. We sought This friend of the family to renovate our home. To our disappointment we have not had our home finished yet and are in the process of Contacting the LLR. We hoped things would not come to this, but feel that no other choice has been given to us! We are thoroughly Disappointed that after a year there are several things we are waiting on to be fixed! The fire damage can still be seen on the bricks ,we have no shutters , we have no screen doors , I could go on but will not, because our intent is to resolve this matter amicably.

Was told we'd receive Andersen Windows, a different brand was installed. Was told there would be a job foreman on site full time. When foreman wasn't available was told he was on vacation. Cannot communicate with workers as they don't speak english. One fell from a second store ladder. Workers not using safety harnesses while on roof. Contractor removed aluminum gutters and downspouts together with aluminum refuge immediately but left nails, trash, chunks of hardware, large wooden splinters strewn all over grass, parking lot and planters. Left large holes with open exposed studs and foundation without cover for days to exposed inclement weather. Didn't mind stripping the aluminum from building in rain but wasn't able to work long enough to protect building from elements nor clean up the trash, garbage and construction debris left behind after he stripped the building of the aluminum. Damage to several other doors, windows and other items of owners property. Has materials so scattered about property that people cannot use parking lot. This is a large condominium complex that he was suppose to re-side using hardie board. Only one building partially completed when he started another. Complaints from almost every owner in the two buildings.

Working with Reggie Hines was one of the most stressful and painful experiences my wife and I have ever endured in 42 years of marriage. He repeatedly fails to do things he promises to do. He started a remodel of two of our three bathrooms in the beginning of October, 2020 and finished last week, April of 2021. Six months to do two bathrooms!! Constant delays and being told someone is showing up and they never arrive. I spent hours waiting at home when I could have been out doing other things and then nobody shows up anyway.
Stay far away from this guy!!!! His workers speak little English and tore up our outside water hydrant which resulted in damages to our new water heater pressure release valves, our refrigerator ice maker, and so far I have spent $2,000 getting repairs to those. It is impossible for me to overstate how bad working with this man ultimately became. Such a sad story. And it didn't have to be this way. I repeat myself when I say stay away from this company.
