Working with Phil Hinz on the remodel and design of the historic BJs building on the corner of S. Kobuk and the Sterling Highway in Soldotna has been a great experience. Taking a dated, uninspiring, burned out (literally burned) block building and making it beautiful, while repurposing the structure for a new life as Shops Around the Corner, has been a positive experience. Phil is highly competent, and efficient at all levels of the construction process. He excels at architectural detail and is conscientious about producing a fine finished product. If you are looking for a unique look, or have something specific in mind, you're looking to partner with Hinz Wood Designs.
