By Leeann S.April 4, 2023Bought a house from him$489,000Response from Hiteshew Construction July 18, 2023The content of this review is not true and unfair. There was an issue of water penetrating the second shower head on the back wall that caused an issue with a few tiles at the bench. The homeowners demanded an entire gut and rebuild of the bathroom with new tiles and colors that she wanted. This was a simple warranty issue that could have been taken care of immediately. This is a classic case of a homeowner trying to take advantage of a small issue for a big gain. They were demanding $37,000 bathroom remodel. I was declined access to the house to make the repair. As a matter of principal I decided to fight these false allegations and the CSLB found her accusations false. In addition, after her claims were denied by the CSLB I sent a lisenced third party tile contractor over to assess the damage and make the proper repair.

If I could give zero stars if I could, we bought a house from this contractor the master shower grout cracked 3 separate times. In October 2022 The forth time it cracked the tiles popped up letting water get behind the tile. Jim sent a tile guy out who removed the tile exposing water damage. Jim the contractor wanted to put the tile back on over the water damage not fixing the issues. Here we are in April 2023 still no master shower, lawyers involved and the CSLB and still no communication from this contractor. I would not recommend this company unless you like the headache of someone who is unprofessional and cuts corners. This is just one of the issues we’ve had with our home.
