    Still no payment from contractor

    It is now 06/23/2014 and I have not received the money from HND Construction. On 05/22/2014 Horacia Perez signed a legal document with the California State License Board stating that he would pay the money to me before 06/22/2014. He received a $1,000 reduction in fines to the Contractors State License Board for the agreement but failed to pay my award to me.

    License now suspended

    His license has just been suspended by the Contractors License Board.

    His License Bond was not renewed either.

    He does not have Workers Comp Insurance now.

    I was awarded close to $4,000.00 after a full investigation of my complaint but have received nothing yet.

    Please be cautious if you plan to hire this person.

    I have filed a complaint with the State Contractors Board and when it shows up I will post the information here. Here is a link to the report from a Certified State Inspector on HND Construction's poor quality.

    This contractor has had his license suspended because he didn't renew his Workers Comp on 07/03/2013. He also was reprimanded by the State Contractors Board for working without a permit "Violated building law - no permit". This can all be verified at the State Contractors Board Website.
