My homeowner's association had the worst experience with HOA Specialists specific to work quality and customer service. The owner is great; the downside is key elements of a job are not communicated to the onsite team. When issues are raised, they are dismissed. Crown molding is not level - again - yet the crew sent photos (which it is in some places) and the owner chose to believe that. Even though a BOD used his/her own level and saw discrepancies.
Estimates are benign; be very specific with the scope of work, expectations otherwise you will be told 'well it is industry standard".
In fairness, I do not think HOA Specialists was set up for success. Our property management company could have been more specific at the onset. But they could have asked.
