I would be careful recommending him. He did a rather substantial addition to my house, which included a roof deck. Most of the work was done well. Russ is very nice and mostly pleasant to work with. My issue is when his contractors do not do a good job. I was advised by a 3rd party that the TPO on the roof deck was not put on properly. Russ said that it was, and gave it a 3 year warranty. It leaked within 2 months and Russ took care of it. Near the end of the 3 year warranty, it started leaking badly again. Russ had tried the minimum of caulking patches, which haven't worked. I have had to remove and replace boards for the roofer to access where he 'thinks' the leaks have been. After his first attempt to patch, it started leaking worse than before. It is still leaking and Russ will not come out to resolve the issue. He now advises that I take measures (not him) to reduce water flow on the roof deck. The last time he actually came out, he said that it was not unexpected for the roof to leak in heavy rains. It is a shame, because I would like to recommend him. But sadly, I cannot since he doesn't stand behind his work nor his warranty.
