    Manny Holguin is the Worst contractor in the history of contractors. I don’t even know how to prioritize how poor of a contractor this scam artist is. We’ll start with the highlights: we bailed him out of jail in Marfa on the way to our job site, his father “ foreman” passed out drunk in the driveway of our Airbnb at our home, his AC guy got arrested at the checkpoint, he shorted us on materials, work was subpar, he notarized his own subcontractors’ lien releases, which were forged, and stole the money for the subs instead of paying them, resulting in us having to pay for sub work twice to get the liens released. He advertises for help on Craigslist, and brings drug addicts into job sites. I looked on Better Business Bureau, and his license isn’t even active in El Paso. Every single minisplit he installed has failed in one way or another; we’re on our 4th unit replacement. His plumbers didn’t install a water filter on our hotel’s system, which voids the warranty on the water heater that failed after just 8 months of use. The fire system is missing a monitoring box, so we had to do that after the fact. Of the 18 rooms Holguin Construction built, not one is 100% right. He’s been evicted from multiple offices, so it’s difficult to track him down. All warranty work is obsolete because he’s skipped out, changed company names and email addresses so often. He lies repetitively, but isn’t adept at even keeping his lies straight. If you want to be scammed for close to half a million dollars, Manny and Jesse Holguin are your guys.
