I had hired Leon for many projects around my home. He put up a wooden fence, and installed a hot water heater and water softener. I also had him put in 9 new windows. Within days I called him because it would sound like a pack of wolves howling every time it was windy outside. I called to tell him, he brushed me off and said it was the small coverings on the window making the noise. I called the window manufacture and they said no, it wasn't from that. I was told the windows were not caulked right on the outside, he said he would come and fix it, which never happened. I gave him enough time to make it right and fix the problem, new windows shouldn't let air in if put in correctly. I had another contractor come by this summer and he showed me how the caulk was not even on the windows. I hired a company to come in and re-caulk all my windows the way they should have been when Holst originally installed them, and no sound can be heard when it's windy outside. I gave him enough time to make it right, but he never followed through with it. I would not recommend Holst construction.

Leon C. Holst
I hired Leon to install a concrete driveway and add a patio. It was impossible to have him return any calls; along with no estimates; poor workmanship and then to top it off a complete failure in his installed concrete which he is not licensed to do. After reaching out to him for more than 2 years I took him to court and I proved his workmanship was unsatisfactory along with multiple other issues from his work. I took Leon to court and I won! I would not recommend him to do any work for you. He has horrible work ethics and completely no consequences for his actions!
