They did not complete the job!!! Holtz construction took a very long time to complete what they did do. Then left and never came back after being paid. I reached out several times to find out when he was coming back and only received snappy texts back about having to work on his other jobs and false promises of coming back out... I even paid him a little more because he kept complaining about taking a job and his employees leaving him right after. Then stated his fiancé didn't think I was going to pay him .. so I did ( before the job was complete) and it was a big mistake! I have documents and photos to prove my review is accurate.
Alot of drywall and other things undone :(

I would not recommend this contractor to anyone. He gave us a quote for a basement remodel that included drywall ceilings and walls, two closets, and a bathroom. Tyler asked for $7,100 up front before work started stating that he has been burned in the past with customers not paying him. The balance was to to be paid upon completion of the work. Tyler stated that he would work 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday and the work would be completed in 5 1/2 weeks. Tyler never came at 8am and most days my husband or I would call or text him at 10am to see if h was
coming. He rarely came to work on our basement and when he did he would work for 2-3 hours and leave for the day. He had many, many excuses when we called him (his step- father was sick out of ton, his step father passed away out of town, he was exposed to Covid, his phone did not work and he just got it back from the phone company, his key broke off in his truck, his fiancé’s mother passed away out of town, he had and emergency at another job with two feet of water flooding the area he was working). The last day he came he was at our house working for one hour then left. I sent a text to see if he was returning to our home that day and he said he had an emergency and would return the next day. That was in November. 2021. We got a text from Tyler 6 weeks later stating he had been in an auto accident and could not walk until the middle of January 2022. Tyler said he would look for someone to finish the job for us. We have called and sent many texts since the last text from him with no response. We asked many times for a refund on the work not completed but again no response from this contractor. We have a signed contract and pictures to prove this review is accurate.
