I build in Sarasota County, Charlotte County, City of North Port and the City of Venice. Since 1985 I have completed over 800 homes. I am partially retired and only wish to build from 3 to 5 homes per year. This will allow me to work with you on a one to one basis and personally supervise your home being built with over 30 years experience. I specialize on building on your lot.

I had my home built 12 years ago by Home Masters, which also included a pool. Now I am 2 weeks away from closing the sale of my home, only to find that the final inspection on my pool was never passed. De Blanco Pools is no longer in business, so I contacted EJ at Home Masters. He said he was on his way out of town and didn't have time to deal with my problem. I asked if he could do anything to help me and his reply was Home Masters that built my home is now defunct and it is NOT HIS PROBLEM! I paid him to build my home, which included the pool. I expected that everything was finished, including the permits, when I took possession of my new home. Now I have to go to the county, get the permit reissued ($200), hire an electrician to inspect the electrical (the electrical did not pass, but there is no documentation anywhere that tells us what the problem is, so another $$) and then the county has to come out for the final and hope it is all satisfactory. EJ will NOT have your back. These additional expenses are now mine. The house is still beautiful...customer service is not!!!

If I could choose zero or negative stars, I would. We hired this company to build our home in Venice. We lived in Atlanta during the construction, visiting several times to check on the progress. There are so many issues on every level. I do not know if I have enough time and space to go over every one. The attention to detail and quality of construction and craftmanship is horrendous. EJ of Home Masters built our very first home. It was the home we raised our child in and it holds many wonderful memories. I have lived in the Venice ares for over 30 years and have many friends who have used EJ as well. One currently building in Mission Valley. Not only is EJ a great guy but he is vert attentive to your needs and concerns. Very happy with our experience and would recommend Home Masters if building a home in South Sarasota County.
