    We built a home with McKenzie in 2022. Beware that you won't get anything like you see in the model without paying for massive upgrades. I guess that's to be expected these days. Throughout the whole process, the builder was hard to work with and often not open to our design requests or doing anything outside the box. McKenzie is not truly a custom builder, only "semi custom" at best.

    Even after moving into the home, there's still unfinished work that McKenzie hasn't come back to complete months later. On top of that, we have serious maintenance issues that they refuse to address. Completely unreliable builder!
