In our experience with Greg Faurote, GF Homes of the Carolinas. LLC, the result was he left the building of our house incomplete with nearly $20,000 to complete the house and/or correct incompetent workmanship. We were left without a C.O. from the town and the development. We had serious ground and storm water issues which Mr. Faurote was fully aware of and yet he took no action to address, as he said it was our lot and our problem. Mr. Faurote was typically quick to pay the subs, which is to his benefit on the next job but can be and was a detriment to the homeowner when the work is incomplete and/or incorrect, as some of his subs would not return to the job. Mr. Faurote was not on the job site more than once or twice a week, which left the subs with lack of direction when needed and minimal oversight on them doing the job they were hired to do. The bottom line in my opinion is that Mr. Faurote did not estimate the job properly and when he saw he was not going to make his salary he quit the job leaving us to finish the build and correct the problems. BUYER BE AWARE!
