We have been very pleased with our experience working with Silvio and his crew. When we asked Silvio for a bid to replace an exterior staircase from the street to our house and a failing retaining wall in our front yard, he provided a reasonable and detailed estimate quickly. When the project started, his men were quick, efficient and friendly. They provided us a temporary ramp for access to and from our home during the construction. The results are great to look at and are so well built, they will likely outlast us. We are very pleased.

I had the good fortune to meet Silvio from Hometelligent on a residential project in Albany, where I was the owner's PM. Since that time, I have used Hometelligent on two projects of my own. One project was my mother's bathroom remodel, where Silvio dropped everything to knock out a gorgeous ADA bath before she came home from rehab, and another was her deck. The work was done quickly, respectfully and reasonably, and the quality high. I would work with him again in a hot minute.

We recently used Hometelligent to remodel our bathrooms earlier this year. Silvio and his crew exceeded our expectations with the results! The work was done in a timely manner every step of the way. I've worked with a variety of home builder/remodel contractors over the years and what many of them lacked (organization skills, communication skills, attention to detail, design/customization advice, and ability to stick to both timelines and budget), Hometelligent and it's owner Silvio Dolbrovat have. I've used Hometelligent for multiple projects, including a new construction barn-like Theater Room and an outdoor BBQ island for a related outdoor entertainment area. Both projects were completed timely, on budget and with little to no delays, unforeseen issues, etc. Hometelligent has quality craftsmen and what matters most in home building or remodeling, really good "finish" guys. The proof is in the "finish" and both of my projects turned out great. We receive nothing but compliments on both. I would HIGHLY recommend Hometelligent for others' future home projects.

Our 140 year old house in Berkeley, needed a ton of rot and termite repair, shear wall installation and eventual replacement of 1200 sf of siding on highly visible south and west walls. I had a good deal of trepidation in searching out a contractor who would be able to be able to pull off a final product that I could live with.
There are two different siding profiles on the 1st and 2nd floors, old existing window positions to consider, a wavering roofline and a prominent corner, where lap-lines meet, and any miscalculation or sloppy technique would stand out like a sore thumb for decades.
We decided on Silvio and his crew, and well, sort of hit the jackpot.
The crew was very focused, careful, and very consistent. The converging lines and lengthy runs (42 and 15 feet long by 23 ft tall) were pulled off very rapidly and with deadly accuracy.
The crew was very convivial, easy to work with and talk to... and, at the same time, totally on their game. Finish and detail work, which included a bit of on-site woodworking, was excellent.
Silvio is on top of it, moves things right along with steady focus and care. For sure, we'll use Hometelligent on our next phase when the time comes.

Silvio and his team built an incredible replacement deck. This was not a normal deck project. The new deck included a full outdoor kitchen and fire pit. Additionally the new deck used concrete pavers for the decking, custom designed railings and screens, and some pretty complicated stairs . Not only are Silvio and his team incredible craftspeople they are very creative problem solvers. I would look forward to working with Silvio and his team again. Truly a fabulous experiences - which is not how most folks would describe a construction project!! But in this case it was so true!

Silvio and his team from Hometelligent have completed (2) projects for me and they did a fantastic job on both. Work included a high end 1800 sq ft deck with Ipe decking and glass railings, as well as a full outdoor kitchen, at my home. The second project was kitchen buildout inside our office building. The knowledge and superior craftsmanship and attention to detail were unmatched. I could not be happier with the outcome. And they were extremely thoughtful and respectful while working. Silvio and his crew are absolutely fantastic. He is a great communicator and adept at all phases of the building process. He came in and corrected many mistakes made by another contractor and got me through inspections on a duplex project in North Oakland. I would highly recommend him for any building project.

Silvio and his crew replaced some windows in my home. The job was done in a timely manner and the quality of workmanship was superb. I was very pleased with the results. Silvio helped me decide what kind of windows to put in after presenting numerous options. I have no regrets about my choice. Very professional and punctual. I plan on using this company for future projects.

Silvio and his teams repaired the entrance to my house, which had rotted due to water damage caused by leaks and poor construction by whoever did the original work. He showed me what was wrong with the previous construction, and how his new work would prevent the same problem from happening again. Since the repairs included a portion of the roof and a section of exterior painting, we had him do the whole roof and repaint the whole house. We are very satisfied with the results! Even better is not worrying about the same problem coming back anytime soon.

Silvio was very responsive throughout the project, via cell phone, email and text messages, and he and his teams did great work, very solid. I would hire him again, and recommend him to anybody who wants quality work on their project.

We just finished a bathroom remodel with Hometelligent and we would really like to recommend them. Silvio was great right from the beginning. He was on time to give us a quote, had great ideas and followed-up quickly with a very competitively priced bid. We appreciated how flexible he was to schedule the work considering we only have one bathroom. Silvio and his team are OUTSTANDING!! Our home was a foreclosure when we purchased it and he corrected electrical, plumbing, etc... Aside from the kitchen and whole top floor remodel, he worked with my design ideas to make them better than I ever could have imagined. He held our hand through the process helping us with product selection such as front door, flooring, skylight, etc... when we needed it and worked with our budget. We went over budget but that's to be expected when there are unknown factors with a foreclosed property.
He and his team are extremely respectful and pay attention to detail. And unlike some contractors we have met up with, Silvio really listens to us and always has great ideas, is organized, excellent project management skills and best of all very responsive to email, texts and phone calls. Great customer service. Silvio and crew remodeled our bathroom recently, he checked the job status daily and provided us with regular updates. There were a few surprises when the sheetrock was removed, he took care of them with no additional charges. The crew was neat and polite as well. They did a beautiful tile job on in our stall shower as well. I would recommend Home Telligent for your remodel needs.

Hi all. When I needed repairs to my house I called Silvio Dobrovat of Hometelligent Inc. to replace my windows. I was very pleased with the results. I had Silvio and his crew paint the interior of the house. Later they removed the old wood siding, put in new insulation, installed new siding and painted the exterior. the work was excellent inside and out. Also the wood on my back porch was old and rotten so I had them build a new deck and stain it. It is beautiful. Silvio and his crew were always very pleasant, informative, and helpful. They kept the construction site as neat and as clean as possible. I am very pleased with all of the work done by Hometelligent, and I would recommend them to anybody needing work done on their home.

Silvio was our contractor for a modest but in some ways complicated addition to our home of a bathroom and plus room. He did a great job in every way. Not only did he help us work through challenges along the way, like unusual drainage conditions and requirements, he also often suggested refinements or additional features which were always thoughtful and aligned with our financial and aesthetic goals. In addition, we liked his sub-contractors and workers, who were almost always personable and hard-working. We definitely recommend Silvio.

It was not just the quality of the work, it was the way Silvio managed a variety of unanticipated jobs...in difficult weather conditions...and kept his team on task.

What started as a simple job of replacing a leaking window and door escalated into a much larger series of jobs, once we found out that the sills of our windows and doors needed replacement, then we needed work done to repair and replace parts of our roof that were contributing to the problems.

As the problems mounted, not only were they able to work through the difficult weather, but were also competent and trustworthy. They completed the project on time and on budget!

Four months later with the next rains, we found another leak. We called Silvio and he responded quickly(next day) and professionally fixed the problem. When I asked for the bill he said there would be no charge "we guarantee our work"

If we ever need work done again on our home, Silvio will be the firs person we call.

Silvio replaced the roof at my property. The bid was very competitive, especially since it included replacing 4 inside windows. The work had to be done while I was out of the country and Silvio kept me informed of the progress and we were able to make decisions via email. The final product is great. Silvio even acted as my representative with our furnace installer which was a great service. After the roof was installed I found what I thought was left over debris from the roof installation. it turned out it was something left over from the previous owners. Despite that, Silvio returned with his crew and cleaned up someone else's mess. I would say that his work is superb and service is way above and beyond the call of duty. I definitely will work with him again.

Attention to detail was key to this project given that ADA design has precise parameters. He and his team are precise, reliable, polite and hard working. Silvio and his Hometelligent crew updated our 1920’s bathroom and did a fantastic job. The job included new tile in the tub surround with the addition of all new valves, installation of a new water saving toilet, new vanity and a medicine cabinet with an inside electrical system. The bathroom, including the trim, was also painted. The workmanship was of the highest quality.

Silvio and his crew were always prompt, courteous, neat and quiet. No blaring radios here. Even though our job was small, there were many unexpected problems to deal with. Silvio was always willing to go the extra mile to solve them.

We hired Silvio and his team to do a remodel, adding a family room, mudroom, and bathroom to the back of our house. They also did some work on our kitchen, including new custom built cabinets. The end result looks great! They did the project in budget and within the estimated time frame. Foundation, wood framing, dry wall, plumbing, electrical, painting --for us it was a big and sometimes confusing project, but Silvio was helpful throughout, giving us good advice. When one of his workers accidentally made a scratch in the new wood floor, Silvio called the floor guys back to refinish it, at his own expense. We will definitely use Hometelligent again.

We had a large arbor where, after 22 years, the support posts had rotted. We called Silvio to get an estimate as his company had done out kitchen remodel several years ago and we were extremely satisfied with the work.
We sellected hometelligent although their bid was not the lowest we received.
Although we ran into unforseen difficulties in resetting the support posts, Silvio's team stuck with it, and the job was completed way beyond our satisfaction. Because of the dificulties, both of us renegotiated the final price in a friendly, professional and fair manner.

They were very good, clean and very responsive because I have a handicapped person at home and not well when we were doing the remodeling. They were excellent. I would have him again, lets put it that way. It was two weeks a little longer because we have to order things and one or two didn't come in time but it wasnt bad at all. More or less it was excessing for the budget. They would listen, they would work with us If we had a question or something that we wanted to correct or change a little bit. For me they worked fine.
