I would recommend Homeworks. We were mostly satisfied with their work. Not to say there weren't a few issues. They did our blue prints as well as most of the remodeling of our master bath & m. bedroom. We got to work with them on the details of the drawings (very important). But a note of caution; if the home owners you are working with have never dealt with a building contractor, it would be very helpful if they could have someone advise & assist them that has. We had another company put in the new bedroom flooring. They did a super job. Homeworks sub's a lot of their work out like electrical, plumbing, tiling. Most of the sub's did good work. Homeworks assigns a project manager for their jobs. We had a good one named Caleb who was very involved & we could reach him any time. He let us know what work was to be done each day ahead of time & ensured workers showed up on time & he was also at the work site most of the time.
Some issues: they started demolition of the old bed room in spite of severe weather warnings. We discussed our concern with the Homeworks owner, but he didn't think there would be a problem. The heavy rains came any way, and they did not properly protect the open structure. They put plastic over the opening but it wasn't enough. Our hallway wooden flooring was severely damaged. Caleb replaced it but he's not a flooring guy. Also we had issues over painting that caused some problems. As for all contractors, someone has to closely monitor & check what they are doing & if it's done right. Also, change orders should be kept to a minimum as they are very expensive.
