Honeyman A/C installed a A/C unit and new duct work at our home located at 4901 E Mountain View Rd. After the A/C system was installed, it was determined that the unit did not properly cool the home. Another A/C contractor determined the A/C unit and duct work Honeyman installed is undersized. Honeyman disagreed and said everything was working fine and they would no longer perform anymore work. I filed a complaint with the registrar of contractors and the inspector from the registrar of contractors agreed with me that the A/C system was not working to industry standards. The registrar of contractors ordered Honeyman A/C to fix the unit by July 22, 2011 but did not fix it. Since the A/C system remains non-working, the registrar of contractors is holding a court hearing to determine if Honeyman's license for non-performance will be revoked. Honeyman has cancelled at least 6 appointments with us. 3 of the appointments, they never even called to say they were not coming over. All the other times, they have been at least 2 hours late. Honeyman A/C is not willing or capable of fixing the A/C system they installed. I've asked Honeyman A/C refund so I can find someone to fix our A/C system but he has refused. Honeyman just keeps asking for more money to fix the unit that they installed incorrectly. Honeyman's BBB rating should be F.
