THE ONLY PLACE THEY HAVE A RATING ABOVE 1.4 STARS, IS ON THE WEBPAGE, WHERE YOU CAN'T LEAVE A REAL REVIEW!!!! I will give a ZERO star rating if possible. This vendor is absolutely garbage!!!! They are contracted through my home warranty program (American Home Shield). Horrible customer service and even worse performance. This vendor scheduled an appointment for a pre-season air conditioner check on May 26th, and I called to confirm my appointment at 10am and was told yes, I am on the schedule and the technician will call me when on the way. At 3 in the afternoon, I called again and was informed that the technician fell at 8 am and sprained his ankle and wasn't going to make it. I received no call or notification for this, and if I hadn't called, I would have never known. I rescheduled for two weeks late on June 9th, and told them I need a smaller window than 8am to 2pm, so I wasn't sitting here waiting all day. I was given the window of 8am to 10am and at 11, I called and was told that I was on the schedule but not until between 2pm and 8pm. Nobody showed up and nobody called me. I called the next day and asked what happened and why nobody showed up, and was informed that the technician stopped working early that day and just didn't make it. I immediately requested to speak to a manager and was informed that the man I was speaking to was a floor manager and he would be happy to help me. I told him I wanted to file a complaint and was told that it would do no good to do so and it would be ignored and the man laughed. I told him of the last appointment that had nobody show up for and this appointment nobody showed up for and was irritated that nobody called, and complained about the customer service. My appointment was then rescheduled for June 17th, and at this point, I had no faith that anyone would show up, and I was right. Nobody showed up and nobody called. When I called this time, I told them I wanted to cancel the whole appointment and I'll find a new vendor and was begged to let them make this up and make a new appointment. So I reluctantly rescheduled one more time for 6/25/2021 (which is tomorrow) and I just called and was told that they are no longer doing a/c checks and it wasn't "their problem" anymore and to contact someone else.
South Placer Heating and Air is horrible garbage. Do not use them. Pay a little more for a quality company that will actually show up to do the work, or at least contact you that something happened and they'll make sure you get taken care of. The customer service is a joke and the employees don't care. I can not believe that any company would perform in this manner. I don't understand how they are in business.

I would definitely recommend Honeys Air- they were professional, careful, and went beyond 'just doing their duty' (they relocated my new HVAC system to a more efficient location, closed up the old space, made the new one, no charge). Job took a little longer than planned but that was understandable because of obstacles they had to overcome (85 year old house not constructed as they expected).
Their rep was very helpful before AND after the job.
Thumbs up.
They also did work at my son's house in Redbridge and he was very happy as well. That's why I chose them.

This South placer Heating and air is the WORST Company EVER..I opened my claim back in November for my heater furnice, and several of their incompetent technicians been to my house(never on time and 3 times they didnt show up AT ALL,they rescheduled the appointments), and EVERY technician finally showed up, didnt know what they were doing AT ALL, one of them actually admitted he just go the job and trying to learn, so he said he didn't know how to fix the problem. Next technician came 2 weeks after making me WAIT, and he fixed the heater but BROKE the AC..He blamed us and said i must have not done regular maintenance on the unit..They are out of touch, dont know what they're doing, a cery shady company who dont even show up to their own appointments,and when they do come, they never fix the problem but cause a new one..STAY AWAY FROM SOUTH PLACER HEATING AND AIR..I will be putting formal complaints on them to the necessary authorities..They should NOT BE IN BUSINESS and screwing people's times, wasting while waiting for them..Their technicians are STUPID also..HORRIBLE Company.
