  I got scammed by this man for $14,000 for a pool. This man is very personal and conning. He has many of these problems of taking down payments from unsuspecting people for work he never plans to perform.

  Install a pool

  $25,000

  Josh was supposed to install a pool for me. He took a $9000 deposit and after 3 months of trying to get him to install the pool I gave up and requested my money back. He claims he will be giving it back to me. It has been over a month and still no pool and no refund. He is a scammer and liar.

  I have worked for and with Josh Houchins for many years like others have stated being a poor contractor and not doing the work correcting what do you expect a business to do? Pay for your mistakes? Buildtec is a subpar company that I would not let build a shed for me. Josh Houchins has built hundreds of homes and commercial buildings he just does not put up with lazy crap work. He also only builds for himself not for the public. Richard Cochran runs a clown show. I don't comment online ever but I just wanted to be clear after reading this.

  Josh Houchins owes me approximately $50,000 for work I did on his investment properties. I have all invoices for all labor and receipts for all materials. This work was done under his Greenstone Ventures LLC. I have spent everything I have to pay my subcontractors, materials, permits and portajohns. He will not even give a partial payment after pushing us to do more work quicker. He has avoided contact and is 6 weeks late on paying me.   I have done business with josh Houchins for years. He is far from a fraud. He is cut throat but not in a non ethical way. He knows what he wants and how he wants it done you better do it! The shark seems like someone who was just not up to par.
