I would highly recommend Dan Houdayer as a GC. We built a custom home on Mercer Island and actually had a different contractor, fired them, and thankfully were introduced to Dan.
Dan is proactive, communicative, efficient, and truly has his client's best interest in mind. The city is brutal to work with, and they put us through many hurdles, but nothing was too difficult for Dan to solve. He would come to us with solutions identified and worked day and night to make sure things were resolved. He took on all communications with the city, subs, neighbors, and vendors.
He is always available by phone (or if not will call back within the hour). It was so refreshing not to have to wait days to hear back from him. We would work with him again in a heartbeat, and plan to do so on future house projects. Highly recommend working with him!
