if you are in need of a new AC or fix one please stay away from this people. I had been a customer for the last 5 years and spent close to 20,000 with them. Once they make the sale that is it for them. I have so much I will like to share but not a liberty to do it yet . Please do yourself a favor and don't call them specially if you are a woman or have no knowledge about ACs

I have had a horrible experience with Houston Air Comfort beginning on 03/30/22 after I reported to center point that my ac/heat unit stopped working. One of the salesman’s from Houston Air Comfort came to my home after their technician was here. They told me that the unit that was in the attic was bad and recommended the whole ac unit, ventilation vents,etc be replaced as it could certainly cause fire and even showed me pictures of a unit they said also have mold
The salesman provide me with loan information. I applied and qualify.
Installation was 03/30 but was not completed. I put a note on the their paperwork saying that the job and refuse to sign it.I called the company on the 31st . Secretary send message to installion crew. No answer
Called on 04/04 . Secretary said she send a message to installation crew.
Called 4/6 . Secretary left me on hold for 20 min and hang up the phone.
Called back I complained to her but she got a horrible attitude ? and send the wrong massage to the installation crew
I told her that was the wrong massage and she told me "now you are changing your version" .Text Joe my salesman and he is also the company manager explained everything and he said he will get it check out with the owner
On 04/07 The company send another company ,ROYAL ac, to inspect and verify what was missing. Took a picture of the contract and he said don't worry I will put a comment about everything that was missing to complete the job.
On 04/12 I text joe and called also the company. Joe said he will get back to me. Secretary said she will leave a message to the installation crew.
I text joe and called the company on 04 /15 to asked for updates. Joe hasn't answered. Company AGIAN left a message to the installation department.
Also 04/15 I found out the company requested and submitted for payment to the loan company on 04/08. I have to filled a claim with the loan company because it wasn't true that the job was complete -

They scheduled, canceled, rescheduled my AC tune up appointment FOUR TIMES!!!! The reason? The technician wanted a day off on those days. Not because of bad weather but he wants a day off...for four of my scheduled appointments. THIS BUSINESS IS HIGHLY UNRELIABLE!!!! Stay away from this service provider!!!!!!!!!
Ended up canceling the fourth and last unfulfilled appoitment!!!!

Houston Air Comfort installed a new water heater. 1 year later it stopped working, and it's impossible to get them to come and fix it. I've called for 3 days, but still they won't say when the technician can be here. When you call they put you on hold for 30 min - 1 hour.

Do not hire this company. They ruined the house I live in because of the poor and unprofessional installation. I filed different complaints with different institutions. And all sided with me I even took them to court
I been living with mold for 2 years because of the poor installation they did cause damage and mold to the house . Stay away from this company. Awful -

Horrible. Pushy and overcharges. Must hunt them down to get scheduled proprietary services. They do not want you to request services(ie) checkups or filter changes from other companies such as those covered by your Homeowners warranty company.
They lied about services they would perform and took several days for them to remove trash from yard.
Please read terms and conditions carefully!

to me, LeslieAgain, per your contract with First American, as a home owner, you are responsible for providing a safe work environment for technicians for any work provided in your home.
The negligence on your part caused long term injury to our technician.
THIS IS ACTUALLY RIDICULOUS TO STATE THAT THIS IS MY FAULT! THE TECHNICIAN FELL FROM MY CEILING, DAMAGED MY FURNITURE, DAMAGED PART OF MY STAIR RAILING, LEFT THE MESS! STAINED MY CARPET AND THEY ARE NOT WANTING TO PAY ME FOR THE DAMAGES!
I WILL BE SUING THIS COMPANY AND I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW WHAT MAY HAPPEN IF YOU HIRE THIS COMPANY!
Beware - If there technician falls from your ceiling, it is your fault! Unbelievable!

- Building permit records show that Houston Air Comfort has worked on 15 permitted projects.
They took advantage of my 70 year old dad, very untrustworthy. Each receptionist I spoke with told me a different story. They said there was no parts or labor warranty because we did not schedule and pay $200 every 6 months for maintenance 2 years ago when the AC unit was installed.
Instead they charged us $500 to "clean the filter" stating that would correct the issue of the evaporator coil being broken. When it broke again, they said all they could do was charge us another $5,000 to replace the coil. I wish I had recorded these conversations!!
We got a second opinion and they said it would only cost $1800 because it was still under parts warranty. What a saving!! Air Specialists in Pearland did an amazing job!!!! NOT Houston Air Comfort or Royal Air.
I'm more heartbroken for my dad who I felt they took advantage of and now we have to find a way to dispute the charges with out credit card company. BUYER BEWARE. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY!!
