He is THE WORST. Stay away. Even if he did the work for free it would cost you since YOU would have to FIX WHAT HE DID.
It took 4 of us 3 days to clean up after his crew. We have taken every weekend, the entire Christmas Holiday plus President's Day weekend just to fix what he and his crew of monkeys did since no contractor would bid on fixing his awful work.
He threatens to leave the job and not refund your money for incomplete work. He promises that he and his crew will be back tomorrow to make it all right and they don't show up for 2 days. He promises, "4 more hours, 4 more hours, 4 more hours" and it's never done.
He was contracted to demolish walls, put up walls, install pocket doors. His crew took forever to demolish a few walls, the crew threw up sheetrock that we've had to replace since it didn't reach the ceiling and they packed mud in that's cracked. ALL of the mud is cracking. They left mud on the windowsills, chunks on the floor and in areas that it never should have been. We have spent weekend just trying to sand down the mud that they left in chunks on the wall. ALL OF IT CRACKED.
Save yourself the time, the aggravation, the work and the money by not hiring Mark from Houzz Construction.

Steer clear of this guy. Had them build a deck for me. He bid the job with materials included in the cost. Not sure where he got the deck boards but they are absolute junk. Looked good at first but after one season they started splintering. Most of the screws didn't even hit a joist. He likes to call himself a "master carpenter". FAR FAR from it.
