I have been building in Nevada County for over 25 years and can honestly say that I enjoy everything the construction field has to offer. I offer senior discounts and free estimates.     Hired Bert to rebuild my back deck, install new vinyl plank flooring and remodel the master bathroom. Was very happy with how everything turned out. The craftsmanship was second to none. He communicated well with he was planning on doing each day. Choosing deck colors and rails. Paint colors for thr bathroom. Overall very satisfied with the work that was done. Plan on having him back for more work in the future.

    Hired Bert and his son Bryan to rebuild my back deck. They were very friendly. Very efficient and most of all did beautiful work. Highly recommend to all of my friends.

    house remodel

    I've always been taught, never judge a book by it's cover. I tried to apply this approach to Bert Howe of Howe Two Construction, however learned the hard way, he looks like garbage and is garbage. So many issues I don't even know where to start. He started my project over 1 month late, never ending excuses and lies, and then the damage. He was hired to do a home remodel. 2 months into the project he was terminated. He applied over 2 times the required paint in the entire interior of the home after drywall was complete in a period of less than 8 hours, liquefying all of the new drywall and texture. Of course it wasn't his fault. I thought that was bad. Once his sorry excuse for contractor was booted I began damage control. Ended up having to gut the entire house a second time and re drywall everything. He had taken out a load bearing wall and replaced it with a "support beam". However once exposed, it was discovered that this "support beam" was merely wedge up under the ceiling joists with no fasteners whatsoever. This guy is beyond incompetent. What made matters even better was the fact that he refused to reimburse me for any of the damage. NONE. So, I took his sorry ass to small claims court where he explained to a judge that he could not afford to pay me back for the damage he created at my property. He now has a court order and makes monthly payments to me for the next 2.5 years. YEARS! Trust me, you want nothing to do with this guy or his "family run business"
