I had hpi trimona through first American home warranty. There was a leak near kitchen sink disposer. The guy came three time but couldn’t fix it. Finally he agreed to replace the disposer unit, then he charged $189 outside warranty for “modification needed” to replace the unit. What kind of modification do you need? Sink disposer all look the same, you just take the old one off and put the new one in! I did it myself
In my younger days. This company is a rip off. Do not use them. -

Sadly we cannot put 0 stars or report them to the entire world. Do not use this company! It is a scam! The guy from HPI Tramona Plumbing came through First American Insurance to change my shower cartridge as I could not have cold water. He said he did not want to do it because my cartridge was good and it was the entire valve that needed to be changed. Estimate 680$ (but they don't tell you that you are going to have thousands more to break the wall and replace your tiles). I insisted that he tried the cartridge first. He also said it would take time and that he was not sure to find the part because my shower valve is "too old". Finally, a month later, he finally comes back supposedly with the cartridge. He pretended he changed it and then said "as I told you, it does not work".
Before leaving, he insisted to take the new cartridge back. Before approving this, I asked the insurance to send another company. They open the new cartridge box in front of me, they replaced it right away and it worked. They said: "nobody ever tried to change a cartridge before us. If they had, they would not have been able to put the old one back because it is impossible!". I also asked how come they had this specific cartridge in their truck. They said "it's standard!". I cannot believe how this guy from HPI had the guts to look at me in the eyes and lied to my face. He is such as crook! I wasted 2 months with no cold water when this could have been resolved in 5 minutes! Do no use them and if your insurance wants to send you this company, ask for someone else. You are entitled to! -

I would give zero starts if possible. I agree with the comment on January 30, 2020 they did the same exact thing at my condo. They claimed it was $600 in modifications which of course are not covered by the actual home warranty, I wish I had taken a before photo as there were so many things not actually replaced. They also came to my personal home to fix a list of plumbing issues. They did not send a report to the home warranty until I demanded a recall be made since items were still not fixed 3 weeks later. The did not answer any calls or reply to any email to me or to home warranty. Sadly the plumber seems so nice & helpful but when I heard what he wrote in his final report it was a lie. He claimed he did work that was not done & he said everything is in working and non leaking condition in my house. Which is not true my sink is leaking and he was supposed to order a new faucet. He also sad he came to my home twice which was also not true. Please avoid at all cost!

Don't hire HPI Trimona Plumbing, they will cheat you and take the money without sharing the invoice.
Especially if they come through Home Warranty, they make money from both the parties Home Warranty and Customer. Without changing any equipment's are parts they will take money.
I really had bad experience and never call back

This Plumbing company is one of the most dishonest plumbers ever. They were called by our home warranty company to replace a covered garbage disposal. However, when they came to the house, they asked for an additional $200 without any valid justification. They left without fixing the problem. I called a different plumber myself who came and replaced the unit for less than the additional cost HPI was asking.
