This company is awful. I would never hire them to do any work at all. They seem to know what they are talking about during the sales pitch, but once they start they are a mess. They promise things they do not deliver and make it seem like it's your fault. They use the cheapest materials they can find and they work is full of short cuts and that all equals a POOR JOB for you!!!
Please stay away from these guys. They even had to change the name of the company to HQ-Builders because no one would hire them under Double B Construction. Buyer Beware!!!!!!!Response from Hq-builders LLC February 7, 2020There are Customers who do not anything else to do, than give bad revies. This woman is one of them. HQ Builders came into our home to repair the damage left behind by our first contractor. Two contractors had refused the job. The quality of service provided by HQ Builders has been exceptional.
• Mr. Bimberg works on a schedule and shows up with the materials he needs to complete the work for that particular day.
• My wife and I do not have to spend time waiting for a worker to show up, call when a worker is late, or have a worker leave the job site for materials.
• Mr. Bimberg communicates exactly what he is going to accomplish for the day and for the next day.
• Our opinions are valued and our input is actively sought out. When we discuss our ideas, Mr. Bimberg will use his experience and expertise to demonstrate our ideas or to show us something we may like better.
• All material expenses are documented and we receive a weekly invoice of labor and expenses.
• All necessary electrical and plumbing permits have been obtained and the electrician and plumber have repaired safety hazards hidden by the first contractor.
• The structural work our first contractor failed to complete correctly, which had my wife and I concerned about our safety, has been corrected and inspected.
• The flooring was laid correctly with a level. All of the cracked tiles and unevenly laid tiles have been removed and replaced.
• All the door frames our first contractor ruined have been repaired.
• Mr. Bimberg has shown great ingenuity by using a piece of wood to increase the size of the old door to fit into the AC/heating opening which had to be widened to service the unit and saved us the cost of a new door.
• The walls in the hallway have been textured correctly and painted.
Mr. Bimberg and HQ Builders are providing my family and I something we have lacked for the past 3 years, a home we can live comfortably in as a family.
