Worst contractor I have ever worked with. Exceeded my budget by over 50%, putting me into a precarious financial situation. Contracted to complete my home in 300 days but instead took over 500 days, costing me thousands in extra storage fees, rent, and moving costs. I found him to have poor communication skills and to be moody and immature. He repeatedly threatened to walk off the job if I questioned or disagreed with anything he did and I felt forced to withhold payment in order to make him finish the project. He turned building my dream home into an absolute nightmare, and even worse, he did this while knowing I had just been diagnosed with breast cancer and was dealing with the stress, uncertainty, and anxiety of that. I never lived in the home—I sold it for a loss as soon as it was finished to dig myself out of the hole this experience put me in—and lost everything I worked on for two years. I would never recommend this contractor.
