Used Dewey for years until he installed a new Aqua Smart controller. The unit was installed wrong and cost me an extra 400+ gallons of fuel oil over a 9 month period. I also found out he had the boiler set up for hot water heating when I have a propane gas heater for hot water. When I tried to speak with him about the improper installation during a boiler cleaning, he totally ignored me, finished the cleaning and left without saying a word. When my zone 1 circulator failed the other day I called in MARR DEVELOPMENT in Bloomsburg for repairs and found out that zone 1 wasn't even tied into the burner. Zone 1 was only heating when it happened to call for heat when Zone 2 was heating and then both circulators ran. The zone 1 circulator likely failed because it was running constantly without igniting the burner. MARR tech found the problem immediately and resolved problem. I would not recommend Dewey for anything other than cleaning, which he does well, but he obviously don't have a clue about setting up the new digital controllers.

I've known Dewey for a couple of years coming into our parts store, I was looking for a split heat pump system. his price was in the ball park so I said do it. the first 2 years it worked fine after that it kept leaking all the refrigerant out, he came and put in a can of stop leak and it worked for the summer, come spring it was empty again, called and he filled it again but it only lasted a week, called several times but no luck anyone picking it up. about a year went by so i called another company to see if they could find the leak, they did and said if hubler would of taken the time to find the leak it would of still been under warranty. the warranty was out buy a couple months. we now have an $8600 lawn ornament.
