The only way I would recommend this company is if you're looking for a contractor to complete only half of the job and leave your yard in complete disarray. We hired Michael and his company on 5/8/21 to install a patio with a drain. Him and his team came and worked on the project on 5/13/21. We were told that the concrete needed to settle and that they'd be back on 5/15/21 to complete the project by installing the drain, adding wood around the perimeter, installing posts in the corners and spreading out the soil to fill in gaps under the fence and that the rest of the soil they would disburse and seed. On 5/15/21 Michael called to inform us that the concrete still needed additional days to settle and that he would be back the following week. It has now been nearly 3 weeks and there has been no response from this company. We've made multiple attempts to call, text, email and sent messaging through Yelp. On the two instances we were able to get the company on the phone they insured us that they would be over that week and then they did not show. So entirely disappointed by the experience as we're left with a half complete patio and a dead lawn. Hudson County Construction should be ashamed on how they run their business. My only hope for this review is to save someone else the frustration of working with this company. RUN don't walk away from giving this company your business.

Absolutely do NOT use this company. Michael is a scam artist. He had a contract with us to install a new driveway and repoint our front steps. Driveway installation was a real hack job. The contract called for 4" of asphalt - we got 1 inch. Contract said replace the curb - he cut the curb. Driveway is so badly graded that water pools on top of it or runs towards the shed at the head of the driveway instead of downhill to the street. So poorly graded it almost defies gravity. Repointing the steps, is amateurish at best. Five of our neighbors, who also worked with them to re-asphalt their driveways also ended up with badly installed asphalt. He was so very belligerent demanding payment that we called the police. It appears to be an Irish clan scam. Again - run as fast as you can from Michael and this company.
