My elderly father used Husky to install a new AC unit. He called multiple times to complain about the sloppy installation - but they ignored his calls. And when we used a different phone number to make appts, once they realized which house it was they ignored us too. We turned on the AC two days after the install - and realized the air coming out wasn't that cold. We finally called a reputable A/C service, and they said Husky did a horrible install. The coolant fluid was ALREADY down 7 gallons - because they didn't weld the pipe properly. It has been only 3 weeks and two uses since install. We learned that they also didn't seal the vent properly - they just used meltable tape - which is a big carbon monoxide poisoning risk. They didn't test the valve for the heater. They didn't install on a platform. Basically, they cut corners and did EVERYTHING illegally - it's going to cost us $2,000 to repair their mistakes. AND they are ignoring our phone calls. I have reported these issues to the Better Business Bureau and we are looking into taking them to small claims court for the costs. I believe they saw that my father was elderly, and decided to take advantage of him. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE - they will literally put your life in danger.
