    Brick and Blockwork project

    Hynek’s bid was much lower than the three other bids I solicited. He gave a very good approximation when his workers would be available. Work was performed in an appropriate amount of time. Quality of work was very good. Workers were pleasant. At all times Hynek kept me up to date as to what time the workers would be arriving and answered my text messages promptly. Would definitely use him again.

    Tuckpointing and to seal seepage in one side of property

    I had Hynek Construction do my tuckpointing, 2 men came and the day after i noticed that part on the bottom was missed and the caulking along one side, at the bottom, did not look finished nor adequate. I texted him and he told me "I'm sorry but we are done with your project. I asked my foreman to make sure everything is ok with you before we left" He only cam back when I cancelled the post dated 2nd check. They come back and the foreman told me that the missing part was what it should be. So I gave him the 2nd check . Later I noticed that, what the foreman said, was not correct. I noticed later that east of that wall, the whole bottom was level with the ground. This time Hynek just ignored the text I sent him. Is this professional??? . Or is it out only for the money and not doing a good job??? And he was not the lowest estimate either. My opinion is, he is not worth the money he charges. And he never came to check at the job his men did.
