    Water leak

Work was completed well. All steps to completion were explained to me and followed without exception. The installers were efficient and very nice. I almost enjoyed the process which is saying a lot since my water leak was no fun at all. Thank you Hyperbuilt for a job well done.

This was a project that took a long time for a variety of reasons. But Preston work with us very well on getting everything going. I especially appreciate him working with the insurance company to facilitate the process. Everyone was friendly and respectful, especially Angel and his crew. Thanks, guys!

Repair water damage caused by leaking water heater.

From the beginning of the project, (when they had to figure out how much damage there was done by the leaking water heater), to the end of the project, every body was helpful and courteous. The area where the new water heater is located looks as good as new! Thank you Hyperbuilt!

I highly recommend Preston Foster and Hyperbuilt. My sewer backed up and ruined two rooms in my house. I called DryLux for mitigation and then Hyperbuilt for restoration. Both companies were great, easing a stressful time and doing a great job to put my house back to its original state. Preston was the manager of the project. He stayed in touch and kept all work running on time. He answered every question and supported me through the whole process. Several contractors were required and everyone he sent did a good job. The rooms look better than ever. Preston also made sure my insurance company and I both had all the paperwork we needed. Thank you, Preston!!

    garage & bedroom.

Technicians, Mario and Manuel, from Hyperbuilt, were sent to our house to repair damage that was done in our garage and spare bedroom. This was done when our hot water heater broke and leaked water. The water heater is on the opposite side of the wall that separates the garage and the bedroom. When it broke the water leaked in the garage & wall in the corner that it was in and the bedroom wall and floor. Mario & Manuel came to do the repairs on Thursday and Friday October 26 & 27, 2023. They did a great job from start to finish. Gloria & Bob Tucker

    Insurance hired
    $21,000

It took these jerseys 10 months to redo a kitchen. They had terrible subcontractors who didn't speak or understand English. They after 10 months with their insurance supplements the job still wasn't completed and sent a letter of intent to put a lein on the house before the final contract of completion. And it's still not finished. This company are rip off artists. Don't hire them or let your insurance company use them. They are liars and cheats. Project manager Alan has no clue what he is doing as I am a project manager with integrity and he has no integrity or know the job. Stay far away from these rip off artists.

    Remodel kitchen following water damage

Horrible service and quality. They did the kitchen repair following water damage. The worst quality work ever. They started work, then disappeared for months, and finally sent non-skilled workers to try to install cabinets. Numerous errors, nail holes, scratched surfaces, gaps in cabinets, etc. They broke existing floor tiles and built a sink base that a sink cannot even fit into. Tim, GM, had a weak excuse for every issue and was very rude and condescending to my wife. We filed a complaint with ROC and are waiting for their inspection of issues. Stay away from this company!

The worst experience ever. They damaged my floors and will not fix. Filing a small claims against them. Had a different contractor come in to do the work and had me pay them out of pocket. Then Hyperbuilt tried to charge me, for what I paid the other contractor to do.

    Restoration & Repair

My experience with Hyperbuilt Inc was excellent from the start to finish. I communicated specifically with their Project Manager, Jason Hadley who handled everything in a most professional manner. This included from their demolition team to the repair and finishing work by trade. With that being said, I highly recommend Hyperbuilt Inc for all your restoration and repair needs.

    Respectfully,

The worst experience, and I should've done more search up front. Had a small leak, contracted this company, and it was problem after problem, I understand they subcontract other companies for some of the work, but managing a project should have some management to it. Nothing was scheduled or even attempted to plan ahead, until the prior work was done so I'm stuck waiting 2-3 weeks between tasks while my house is a construction zone. Qualify of work was horrific, on two different occasions they showed up with cheaper material than what was quoted on their price breakdown (cabinets, paint.) One day they left without realizing they haven't touched an entire room that also was part of that same work "because no one told them to" I wasn't home, I work but isn't that why you took measurements of the damage, you have a blueprint for where work needs to be done. Another day, one of the installation guys had his daughter bring lunch, and then stay all afternoon to help because they were short staffed! Their prices are inflated because work is covered by insurance, but do yourself a favor and research a company that is competent for you projects.

    Fix water damaged kitchen
    $10,000

Absolutely terrible and dishonest company. When they put my rebuilt cabinets in they put them crooked so the drawers barely open. They broke the granite seam on the countertop and said it wasn’t their fault and refuse to fix it. They tore out my kitchen floor and left splinters and sharp edges everywhere. 3 months later and they still haven’t fixed my floor. Run as fast as you can from this company.

kitchen water damage repair through the owners insurance

This company was the worst. Most of their people/contractors did subpar work. The cabinet guy, who rebuilt the cabinets did shoddy and incomplete work. He had to come back, three weeks later to finish the job and it was still not very professional. The second star is only for the guy who did the walls and shelves. He and his partner were great. They went above and beyond to make sure that they did a good job. The project manager was horrible. It seemed like he was not in control of managing this project. He'd say that someone was going to call or be at the location... they never called or would show up. Finally, was told that both cabinet and wall people were going to be at the location in the morning, I cleared the morning and made plans for the afternoon, only one showed up in the morning. I was told that the other will be there in the afternoon, ruining my plans for the day. Look, I understand that things like this happen; however, this seems to be the norm and not the exception for this company and project manager, who always makes excuses and then blamed me for being upset that he, again, wrecked my plans for a day. I, like most people, have a life. I cannot recommend this company.

We had a leak in our upstairs bathroom. The remediation company referred us to them. They were in to

I would never use these guys again! They don't understand honesty and integrity. I had a new frig damaged by their worker, materials installed with chips and paint over spray. Then they advised me they made an error on discounts, asked them if they had anything in writing to that issue with Jason Larson, project manager and he said no. Then sent us a bill and expected us to pay up with nothing in writing to their error! Then when we disputed it with Jason. He sent us directly to Collections threatening our CREDIT at the time of Covid 19 and no money coming into our home. All of this over a "Veterans Discount". Unacceptable! Veterans beware!!!

    Patch drywall
    $600

Hyperbuilt (HB) was going to patch up the drywall after a bathroom leak (maybe 4 square feet). We signed the contract with HB on 11/27. Our inspection was scheduled for 11/29 and a rep from HB was present.
Report was formed post-inspection 12/2. We never received a copy after being promised it in an email. On 12/10 we sent an email asking for it and received the report. Who knows when we would have heard anything if we hadn't reached out. The only reason we know the report was made on 12/2 is because it is dated. On 12/10 the HB rep said he put the estimate in the system. On 12/17 we still hadn’t heard from anyone. We email the rep who says at 10am on 12/17 he’ll look into it and get back to us shortly
24 hours later we emailed asking for any news after not hearing anything and we were told it was in process and would be assigned to a Project Manager (PM) that day. On 12/19 we say we are leaving the next day for vacation and will need to schedule it in January which is exactly what we wanted to avoid in the first place. We also ask for the cost of the project. On 12/21 we say we are available on 1/2 or 1/3 and are told they don't have an opening until 1/4. We accept immediately and ask for the cost of repairs again. The rep (not a PM because we still hadn't heard from one) replies saying the 4th actually doesn't work but he can move a job on the 2nd for us. We say that'd be great and ask for the cost of repairs for the 3rd time. The rep then asks us if the 8th works??? We say if that's the earliest then fine but don't know how the 2nd turned into the 8th. We also ask for the cost of repairs for the 4th time and are told $600.

We never heard from a PM, initiated all communication, and were charged $600 for 4sq feet of drywall being patched which took the guy 3 hours to do.

I call the GM and lay it all out and he says that things under $700 aren't a high priority and we never heard from a PM because of that and because they were shorthanded. He also says for jobs less than $700 they normally tell people to get a handyman because it will be cheaper. NEVER TOLD US. My buddy is a contractor and could've done it for $200. The GM told me he'd look at it but there was no way he could knock off anywhere close to half the cost. This whole process was BS. We only went through all this because it was through our home warranty company so they pick who does the work. I will be calling them and requesting that they never use Hyperbuilt again.
