I Show Up Construction

We had our basement finished by I show Up construction, and like others before have said, they showed up occasionally.
The flooring the put down in my basement is already bubbling up and John admited needs to be replaced. There was no finish work done at all around windows, walls, or stairs. We spent thouasand of dollars for piss poor work that the owner of the company told us needs to be replaced but won't. He is back working in the area so be careful who you work with folks, he has burned a lot of people and went bankrupt once already leaving hard working people with unfinished progects they have paid for.

Working with John has been an unfortunate and demoralizing experience. It goes to show that no matter how much research you put into a person and their company; exposure to a failed contractor and poor craftsman is a risk that cannot be fully avoided. In short, John has abandoned his work at our home and left us holding the pieces. Plumbing, electrical, tile work, flooring, and even final inspection has been forced upon me and my family. Not only did he abandon this job, but he stole $9000.00 from us and used it to pay off other projects before disappearing. His name and company should be a warning to everyone: do not trust or work with John H. Henneforth.

You made a friend for life, for taking the time out of your busy day to evaluate our bad situation with our water heater, and holding tank, the guys you sent were great, and price was extremely reasonable, I will definitely recommend , you to my neighbors and friends. I Show Up Construction installed a 44-foot ledger board & installed 6 concrete deck piers. While the ledger board was pretty straight-forward, excavating the large holes for the piers required avoiding oil tanks, septic lines, sumb pump lines, and propane lines. Additionally, some of the work was under a low tree & next to a koi pond.

John & his crew arrived right on time - they were clean, neat, polite and hard workers. They brought the correct supplies and the right equipment. They navigated the tricky parts of the job very carefully. John is extremely knowledgeable and skilled - he bid the work & then did the work himself alongside his crew that he supervised. They did an impressive job of cleaning up by raking & grading the dirt back, and leaving no garbage behind. They went the extra mile by re-seeding the lawn, moving the old piers out of site, and providing tips on completing the deck. I interviewed a few contractors before I Show Up Construction and none of them gave me the confidence that they had the ability or knowledge to do the job. After interviewing John and discussing the project - I knew right away that he had the ability & knowledge to do it right. John guaranteed that the work would pass inspection and it did. Every phone call & question was answered and I would recommend them without hesitation.

I Show Up Construction did 2 jobs for us. They installed a microwave and oven. They did an excellent job, were competent, courteous and pleasant to deal with. They were careful and cleaned up after the job was done. We were so pleased we hired them for another job.

We had our brick fireplace painted white. It looks fabulous! We could not be more pleased. Thank you. The men working on the job did an excellent job. Again, they were very careful to protect the carpet and did a great job of cleaning up. I would definitely recommend them.

Experience was fantastic! I have never been so please with contractors before in my life and believe me I have had plenty of jobs done. They were here on the appointed day all supplies unloaded and going over the list of projects to be done.
Everyone of them hard workers not 20 min. breaks, they just went to work and stopped only for lunch. Neat, clean, courteous and professional in every way. You want a job done right then call this company.

We used "I Show Up Construction'" for MANY jobs around our home and have been more than pleased with the quality of their work!!
They did excellent sheetrock and painting work in my foyer, my ceiling in my living room needed repair and paint and I couldn't be happier with it. As for the work they did on the outside of my house with the roof I was elated at the the price and that the quality of work was outstanding.
I could go on for hours about the excellent work and the polite gentlemen that were here, but the fact that they did all of the above work in a timely manner (one day) and the fact that they showed up literally ON TIME and returned my phone calls in a timely manner and their fee was within the quoted estimated price was a major plus!!
Should anyone be looking in the Lords Valley or Hawley PA area I highly recommend this company as reliable, dependable and excellent at what they do, I will be using them again!!!
