  The fact that we have to offer 1 star is a joke. “ICYRICH” or Richard Coggin as he calls himself, doesn’t even hold an active business license in the state of Arkansas. Richard offered no formal contract, requested he be Paypal’d “Friends & Family” to his wife “whom also holds the active contractor’s license, not Richard” for services rendered. We also found an open beer bottle in our 11 year old’s bathroom drawer from Richard and crew. The work was incredibly shoddy, masking tape as opposed to painters tape on the edging (seems legit, right). We paid him for top notch paint, although he bought aftermarket and had no active purchase orders at the store we requested from. Richard, sent 2, oftentimes 1 man to work on the entire interior on a 5,200 square foot home. I can’t believe he even had the nerve to invoice us for a “balance due”. We are throwing the entire kitchen sink at him and his crew for doing contracting unlicensed. This was the shadiest contractor and business transaction that I’ve ever witnessed. RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN. Do not recommend at all.

  Rich and his crew did an excellent job in our home in Vinita. His team painted all rooms inside this 4,000 square foot home, all trim work, and our kitchen and bath cabinets. When I chose an incorrect finish on the cabinets, he worked with me until I figured out what I really wanted. He and his flooring folks had to work with demoing Saltillo tile and glued down floors. They did this efficiently, and then laid beautiful VLT throughout the home. He removed carpet on the stairs, cleaned these up and we are able to use the stairs without carpet and just some nice carpet pads. He put in a full bath in a loft area of this home, which for the most part turned out well. We have tried to reach Rich to get him to fix the slope on the shower floor as the water is pooling in the corner of the shower. In addition we needed him to install a few outlets in this bath, and fix two outlets in the kitchen. We paid him in full based on him promising to return to the house after it was furnished. We have been calling, texting and messaging on Facebook, but no luck. The moral to this story is Rich does great work, just pay as you go, and do not pay final payment until he returns to finish the punch list.
