Cho told us that you are his BOSS and he can't tell YOU WHAT TO DO. We waited for you to show up and you wouldn't. I called and texted you, you ignored me.
You can't fix a roof when it's raining
I won't allow you to do any further repairs.
You and your crew installed the roof and vents wrong.

You didn't have a permit for any of the work.

You didn't pull a permit to do ANY work on our home, so why would we allow you back?

All the other inspectors easily spotted the leaking and the problem without going into the attic in addition to all the other issues with your installation.

What qualifications do you have to conduct wind experiments in attics?

Since YOU are the professional, why wouldn't YOU know that those vents were incorrect?

Yes, I'm immunocompromised. You and everyone that works for you EXCEPT our rep.CHO DIDN'T adhere to Covid regulations. Why would I allow you into my home, only to spend hours sanitizing after? Would you pay my medical bills if I were to get sick?

Our rep.Cho has always answered our calls and texts. He has always been a professional. He even called us from the hospital after he had a heart attack.

You Dan, are the only person who has avoided our calls and ignored us.

Why did YOU make appointments only to not show up and not call?

You had siding delivered, without permission or appointment for installation and wanted people without a permit to tear up our home in the middle of winter with two FEET of snow and ice on the ground.. We looked out one morning and there was siding.

When your installer showed up, in December, he said he was incapable of even doing the installation because YOU DIDN'T BOTHER to tell him how tall our house is and he agreed that it would be too dangerous too install in winter. Not to mention that his 1 other crew member had Covid.

THERE WAS NO APPOINTMENT THAT WE CANCELLED EVER!

The wrong color was pointed by the GAF INSPECTOR, not us.

So why Dan, would we trust a warranty, from a company that doesn't keep appointments made by the owner, pull permits, and honor it's word to the customer?

Why would I believe you over the qualified GAF inspector and the other roofing companies?

Simply put, WE DON'T TRUST YOU, DAN HOTEA

We gave you 6 MONTHS to fix the issues.

You have used excuse after excuse to not do the right thing.

You keep blaming everybody but yourself.

Original review

Roof installed in early December 2020 started leaking in 9 spots in January 2021. We contacted the owner and our rep., provided pictures, video of the attic, video of moisture reading. Showed them the damage to our ceiling, attic insulation, lights, smoke/monoxide detector.

The owner gave us the run around, finally they had 3 people come out in May and inspected the roof. Their inspectors agreed that there were issues with the 9 vents being installed wrong and not being secured to the roof correctly. Constant appointments made by the owner, then they would no call no show.

In June we called a GAF inspector and another licensed contractor. They not only found the leaks they found additional issues.

We over paid the initial payment because they were set to do siding next.

The owner will not honor the 10 year warranty, GAF will not honor the product warranty because of the incorrect installation. So our brand new roof has zero warranty.

When GAF contacted the owner, because he's a "certified" contractor by them, the owner claimed we hadn't paid him. Total lie, because I have the cancelled check.

All of this could have been avoided had they just fixed the leaks. Now we know EVERYTHING that was done incorrectly, and it's a lot!

In order for us to get a warranty on the roof we have to get the roof redone.

Horrible nightmare for the last 6 month. WE GAVE THEM 6 MONTHS.

I would be happy to provide proof in the form of pictures, videos, inspection reports, GAF emails(shingle manufacturer), Master Flow (vent manufacturer) emails, cancelled checks, and anything else that someone would need.
