DO NOT HIRE this contractor. TOOK DEPOSIT OF $6,132 on 6/09/18, never finished the job, NEVER RETURNED MY MONEY.
Mr. Hayes, the owner of III Phase Haze Inc, was hired to install home generator in my house. He gave me an estimate for the job for $12,264.08 on June 9, 2018. He requested deposit of 50% (6,132.04). I paid with a check on the same day and he took money from my bank account the same week. He delayed start of this job for 11 months. After many calls and text messages, he obtained a permit on February 21, 2019. After many phone calls, he finally showed to start the job in the end of May 2019, installed only transfer switches, and stated generator will be delivered the following week. I waited till the end of August 2019, nothing was done. I spoke with Mr. Hayes many times on the phone asking for job completion, than he stopped answering my calls. I had to hire another company to finish the job.
To date, Mr. Hayes did not return my money. In his estimate he included very expensive 300 Amp transfer switch ($2,356), but installed 2 cheaper switches 150 Amp each. I am filing a formal complaint to licensing office, but want to share my story to make people aware about this contractor work ethics.

He is hard to get a hold of. The time he tells you is never the time he shows up. Always very late. His work however is spot on. Not sure I would use him again as I do not have time to sit around all day and wait.
