We order a new home in Oct 2016 to finished and ready to move into by Dec. 1-2017. Imperial Homes did not follow that contract so our house was not built the way we wanted it. After we signed a contract they said that our house had more sq. ft. than what they told us and wanted more many. We were out of state buyers and communications with Mike and Justin was terrible. I had to make several trims back to Florida to inspect the construction finding many issues that were wrong. Somethings were fixable some not and was told we had to live with it. By Dec. of 2018 our house not completely done and we had to fire Imperial Homes and seek another avenue to finish our house. Mike and Justin was terrible to work with never kept their promises. They talk the talk but don't have skills New home buyers beware you have been warned,

My experience with this contractor is negative. We signed a contract with this builder June 2018 to build a home in Cape Coral Florida. We gave them a large deposit. They did not start working on the house until 1 November 2018. From November till June 2019 the house sat for months at a time with no work being completed.
Imperial Holmes is the most on organized and unethical company I’ve ever worked with. Owner Justin can never get a straight answer on any questions. They had no plan to build a house in a timely manner. We were promised dozens of times the house would take 12 months. I was also instructed that Justin was too busy to take my phone calls or my texts and that emailing him would be better for him. I’m paying this guy a big amount of money to build a house and he can’t even take my call. Justin you are a total amateur.
The house only made it to the tie beam. Which in reality is maybe 4 to 6 weeks worth of work if you’re actually showing up daily. The final straw was when we were notified by two of the subcontractors that they were not being paid by imperial homes. One placed a lien on the construction project. It was never paid by imperial homes. M The house only made it to the tie beam. Which in reality is maybe 4 to 6 weeks worth of work if you’re actually showing up daily. My wife and I had to fire this worthless contractor. Does not care one bit about his clients and will lie to your face . Please avoid this contractor.

By Shri C.September 5, 2019Build 2 new homes for cash
Building 2 cash homes with Imperial Homes. First one took 2 years 4 months and the second is abandoned after 1 year 8 months and both incomplete. Was told today by owners, they let all employees go and have no funds to completed the scheduled homes. We would have to pay the vendors direct and they would assist. May be an easy way to start over without filing for bankruptcy. Not sure.

Our home began January, 2018. It has been a painful process and to this date (March, 2020), it is still not completely done. We moved in at the end of July, because the city inspector felts sorry for us because we had no where to go. We had now moved 3 times in two years. Things that were suppose to be done where not during the build phase, moving house on lot cost of thousands of dollars that builder did not know and we are doing alot of the final work ourselves since builder has not sent anyone back since July to finish. Stay away from this builder - run as fast as you can. They are not honest folks and communication skills suck!
