⭐ 1 star — Avoid Inch Construction at all costs
We hired Inch Construction (INCH), run by Luis Lopez, in 2022 for a full bathroom remodel. He told us it would take three weeks. It took FOUR MONTHS.
He’d show up with one guy, then disappear for days. Total flake. We were stuck because we already signed with him. So we lived in our damn guest room for nearly four months. It was miserable. I was actually excited to kick him out of my house when it was finally “done.”
Fast forward a year — we start smelling something nasty from the toilet. Call a plumber, and he pulls it apart and tells us… there was no wax ring installed. So gray water had been leaking under our floor this entire time.
We call Luis. He actually shows up, demos the area, and then — surprise — he starts ghosting us again. One no-show. Two no-shows. Then radio silence. Never came back.
I hired my own guy to finish the job. Luis refused to reimburse me. Still refuses to pay. I filed a complaint with the CSLB. He agreed to pay during that process. Guess what? Still never paid.
Now I’m filing against his bond. And if that doesn’t work, it’s small claims court.
This guy is a nightmare. Zero professionalism. Zero accountability. Total scammy behavior. Don’t let the polished pitch fool you — you’ll regret it like I did.
