    Review of quality of painting by INCO USA, LLC, I hired a division that works in metro Charlotte, NC

    The man that did the pressure washing did a great job. He was thorough, clean, left no debris behind, and was careful of our property.
    Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the painting crew that came 3 days later. Now, this is not the only company I interviewed for the job. I interviewed 4 companies and received quotes from 3 of them. Obviously I made a poor choice. As they say, Hindsight is 20/20.
    I was told they would:
    1. Clean the surface, they did
    2. Scrape the surface, did NOT
    3. Cover, did the minimum
    4. Paint, very poorly
    5. Clean, left a lot of trash

    They did pressure wash.
    They did not scrape the surface prior to painting. When I saw this, I went out and said something to them. Of course they acted like they didn’t understand my complaint so I asked them to call their boss. When they got him on the phone I spoke to him about my concerns. He told me it was because we had damaged wood. (There had been no mention of damaged wood when they came out to give us the quote.) I insisted that they needed to scrape and he said he would be out in an hour or 2.
    When the boss finally arrived he had one of the crew take a plastic scraper and scrape the ceiling of the carport in one direction. He appeared to put very little effort into it. I asked that he scrape in the opposite direction which he did but again with very little effort. Then they painted over the area and it looked a bit better. At this point I was assured they would scrape the rest and I would be satisfied with their work.
    I asked why they hadn’t scraped to begin with and was told the first coat of paint helped them see where they needed to scrape. (What a waste of paint!)
    They DID NOT scrape after the boss left.
    They did leave trash all over the property. Overspray on the brick and personal items. They used a nice piece of wood that was neatly stored on the carport to shield something while painting and ruined about ¼ of the length of it. They took our push broom, used it without asking, got paint on it and left it lying in the backyard. They poured out a puddle of paint in our backyard, which is illegal, as well as spraying the grass and getting overspray on bushes in several areas.
    Our paint looks horrible. It is cracking, peeling and just awful. We are now planning to have siding put on to cover this awful mess.
    This company had good reviews. If I could leave 0 stars I would.
