    WOW! What can I say? I thought I was the only one with this problem. This Sims Guy is a real jerk. I have had the same problems with him as most others are posting here. Unkept Promises, trying to get away with "forgetting" (*cough *cough) to do things that were agreed upon under contract, no follow through on commitments he has made to me. He usea unlicensed electricians and plumbers as subcontractors. He also had no permits on our job - which caused a whole new set of problems. When he knows he has been caught in a lie or has screwed up, he wont answer his calls and wont return them either. Why is this guy allowed to stay in business?? Seriously, if this guy is in any "Top Twenty Percent" of contractors around here - they must all be wretched retribute!

    Simms' Company is ''able'' to do fine work. They however are owned and operated by a complete liar. He made promises he never kept and lied constantly. In the end he finally (with 2 weeks to spare) finished the job. They had been working on this house for 5 months. In the end I thought I was done with ever having to hear his name. Today I received a notice of lien against my property from an electrician Simms chose not to pay. I had spoken with him about this and he promised he would not let this electrician do this as he (the electrician) had come out to my home to inform me of his intentions. Should you find him on your doorstep to do work as part of any contract, do yourself a favor - shoot him! It'll save you alot of heartache.

    Very poor work done and did not get a builders permit now I have to tear done my roof. Thanks for nothing Mr. Simms, I will be suing you soon. Thanks Tina, Pullbrooke Dr. Beware anyone wanting his work done.

    Mr. Simms and company left my parent's home unfinished after cashing their check. I will never use them again!

    Does CLH have a reason for his comment - such as a job they did ? Alot of companies are not accredited with BBB they can't all be bad companies.
