Giles, is good on his word of making everything right. We noticed a small area was missed by his painter and Giles scheduled the painter to take care of this small miss. The response was quick and the results positive.

Contractor used a lesser quality paint than agreed on in the contract. This decision was made without consulting me and was made to stay within budget. Painting was subcontracted and it took three weeks to complete a one week job. Painter missed lots of spots and was also supposed to perform some repairs. This contractor does not supervise his workers so beware and pay close attention to the quality of the work.

We used Giles and his team at Infinity Builders for our extensive home remodel. Giles was quick to respond to our initial inquiry and we had a bid from him within two days. Giles was always available to answer all of our questions and address our concerns. And Giles and his team put in extra hours to ensure that our project was completed at a high level of craftsmanship while also striving to meet our deadlines. And Giles' willingness to comeback to address any concerns and to complete work that remained outstanding due to the disruption of materials shipping was very much appreciated. Giles and his team at Infinity Builders provide high-level work at an affordable price point - not an easy find in this day and age.

Giles and his team with Infinity Builders Inc. did a great job. I had them perform a roof replacement for me on a rental property, with a changeout to a metal roof, back in September. Working with Giles was the most positive experience out of any of the roofing contractors I was working with. Giles offered an excellent deal for the work, was sure to explain details with me, offered multiple options for the job, and remained flexible when I decided to add in skylight replacement as well. He even included an ice/water shield in the valleys where not everyone included this in their offers. When the work kicked off, his team got started promptly, and they were courteous with the tenants. Their work schedule was coordinated through my property manager, and Giles and his team were flexible, responsive, and complete in their work. Giles also kept me informed of the progress with pictures and comments as the work progressed. Even after the main project was complete, Giles was sure to come back to complete the work when a breakoff section of the roof was initially missed. Overall, the experience was very positive and Infinity Builders offers an excellent deal.

Permits

We remodeled our entire house with Infinity Builders, based upon their stellar reviews with BuildZoom and an initial positive first meeting. To say the experience was disappointing would be kind. Not only were items of lower quality substituted without our permission (same experience as Al S.'s), but contractor's employees and subs often-though not always- did sloppy work. The new membrane roof leaked within days of its installation. Paint was slopped all over the floor and baseboards, because the painter usually didn't tape or use dropcloths. We ultimately had to have the house repainted. Nails popped out of cabinetry. Electrical work was done incorrectly and had to be redone at our expense. Plumbing work also needed to be redone, again at our expense. The owner of Infinity, our contractor, does not, as noted elsewhere, supervise his work. He almost never showed up, unless for a prearranged meeting, and then for never more than 15-30 minutes. Our contractor ordered and quickly installed an HVAC system without even asking us if we had any preferences. The unit turned out to be of a cheap grade, was not properly sized for our house, and was not installed according to code in several ways. We tried it out. It did not cool the house satisfactorily, and made a lot of noise. We had it removed and donated it to charity. We installed an efficient HVAC system properly sized for our house, with a good warranty. Of course, that was at our own expense as well. If this is not enough to help you evaluate the quality of work that was done, here's two last things: though we paid 97% of the cost of the contract, a number of items were never started, much less completed, and we feel the contractor owes us money. And, the house was left dirty: there were fingermarks left on doors, cabinets, the range hood; the shower enclosure and bathtub were filthy, and dirty water was dumped all over our yard. On the positive side the tile work by the sub contractor was spectacular; however, the tile-man left pools of oil on our landscaping and curb so that we had to clean that up as well. The contractor was provided information about all of this on several occasions but seemed only to be able to focus on one small item at a time, and then ignored the rest, continuously. We ended up arranging for required permits, and in the process discovered inadequate, and in one case, dangerous installations. We have received no information to date regarding warranties on the workmanship or materials and are not convinced that adequate lien waivers have been obtained. Using Infinity requires the consumer to micro-manage every step of the process, to be exceedingly concerned about every detail and to know in advance everything you want done. Even then...
